Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, believes that the new owners of the commercial rights of F1 Liberty Media went ugly against the former head of management Grand Prix, Bernie Ecclestone, according to AUTOSPORT.com.
Immediately after the American company became the owner of 100% of the shares, Ecclestone was removed from the steering post.
In turn, Briatore recently Bernie arranged for a surprise party in London.
In the video on his account on Instagram Flavio said, “I organized a surprise party in London to celebrate 40 years of the work of Bernie Ecclestone in F1.
Usually if you’re invited to a party of 100 guests, then it comes about 60 people, because nowadays people are extremely busy with their own Affairs, and who are living thousands of miles away from the meeting place.
The amazing thing is that all the people I have invited to this meeting in London came. Among the guests were the Prince of Monaco albert II, crown Prince of Bahrain Salman, Luca di Montezemolo, Stefano Domenicali, Piero Ferrari, David Coulthard, Max Mosley, Toto Wolff, Niki Lauda and many more.
So we paid tribute to Bernie for his career.
New F1 boss treated him shabbily. People quickly forget what has created this person. It was a little sad, but very beautiful night.”
