Win a Ferrari at the Grand Prix of Australia-2017 led to an increase in the value of shares of the Italian manufacturer on the stock exchange.
After the success of the red team in Melbourne its shares climbed 3.6% and trade at the level of 68.5 euros. This is the highest Italian manufacturer since their debut release on the stock market of Milan in the beginning of 2016 after the separation of Ferrari from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
“For a car manufacturer there is nothing more valuable than victory in the most prestigious series, – quotes Bloomberg strategist at IG Markets in Milan Vincenzo Longo. – Success on the Grand Prix Formula 1 has become a catalyst of positive changes in the price of a Ferrari”.
Recall that this victory was the first for Ferrari since August, 2015. The last time the Italian manufacturer has won the world championship in 2008. Due to poor performances in 2014, it was decided to replace Luca di Montezemolo as President of Ferrari Sergio Marchione.
