McLaren-Honda Fernando Alonso has admitted that the Grand Prix of Australia will turn out to be tough for the team from Woking.
“After two challenging weeks of tests in Barcelona we are ready for a difficult weekend in Melbourne, said Alonso. We will do our best with the equipment we have available.
To begin with, we need to work on reliability before making any assumptions about speed and results. We’ll try to enjoy this weekend.
I am incredibly motivated before the start of the new season, as always can’t wait to see what the race will bring us new regulations”.

His teammate Stoffel Vandorn added: “I look forward to the moment when you sit in the cockpit MCL32 on Friday morning. I feel ready for this challenge. I’ve been working out in the winter and is motivated to help the team.
If we talk about the potential speech, then I don’t set myself specific goals. I will keep calm and learn from the team and Fernando. I’ll try to do my job the best way.”
