The ex-pilot F1, and now a TV expert Alex Wurz talked about what he expects from the new season of 2017, which will compete with cars designed under the new regulations.
“A new era,’ said Wurz in an interview with Sport1. For the first time the regulations spelled out in such a way that the machines have become faster.
Racers and fans were asked faster F1 – partially they got it. Machines that are very fast cornering, will give an exciting race.
The pilots have been working hard this winter to prepare yourself for this test. Thanks to the new regulations they will now get pleasure from racing”.
Alex also shared his predictions for the coming campaign.
“Every season I hope that Vettel will fight for the championship – continued Wurz. But let him do the car? It should show the stopwatch is not with tests, but with real Grand Prix. It would be great to see a competitive Ferrari in 2017.
It seems to me that Mercedes is hiding its pace. Ferrari and Red Bull Racing lose them a few tenths of a second. And then planned the lumen that separates the top teams from the cohort average.
In my opinion, in the middle of the peloton looks better than the other Williams. Renault is also a little caught up: I am sure that this year we will see her progress compared to last season.”
