New Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas said that he would work with Tony Ross, which in previous years was the race engineer of Nico Rosberg.
“My race engineer will be Tony Ross, who has previously worked with Rosberg,” Bottas said in an interview with Finnish newspaper Ilta Sanomat.
Ross began his career in Formula 1 in 1997 in the team of Williams, where he worked with drivers such as Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Juan Pablo Montoya and Nick Heidfeld. From 2006 he was the race engineer for Rosberg, followed by Mercedes in 2011.
