A close look at the new car, McLaren managed to notice one interesting detail. On the side pontoons appeared again the image of a little kiwi bird – national symbol of New Zealand, the homeland of the founding team of Bruce McLaren.
The so-called Speedy Kiwi logo was drawn by renowned Motorsport artist Michael Turner and first appeared in 1967 on the vehicle’s Can-Am McLaren M6A Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme.
A return to the use of this logo is undoubtedly a good omen and should inspire fans of the famous band.
