The pilot of McLaren Stoffel Vandorn believes that in his debut season in F1, he should not entirely focus on team battle with Fernando Alonso.
The Belgian made his debut in F1 at the Grand Prix of Bahrain in 2016, replacing the injured Alonso then Stoffel managed to finish in tenth place in the race and bringing the British team their first point in the campaign.
In 2017 on Stoffele pinning great hopes, but he prefers to concentrate on their own results and not on how it will look on the background of two-time world champion.

The comparison with Alonso is bound to attract public attention to the results of Vandorn, but the pilot is not worried about it.

A 24-year-old driver spoke about what he gained experience at Alonso and Jenson Button, as a test pilot with McLaren in 2016.
