During the exhibition-in Pascal competed with Felipe Massa in contact with the Brazilian Polaris Slingshot SLR it rolled over after the finish, hit the barriers.
Despite the fact that after the incident, the Germans were able to leave the car, he did not participate in the second day of the competition on the advice of doctors to take any precautions. Yesterday German mass-media have started to speculate that Wehrlein could miss the first block of pre-season tests in Barcelona, which starts on 27 February, however, Sauber has denied this information.
“Regarding the rumors about Pascal Wehrlein. Yes, medical checks are still ongoing. But reports in the press are just guesses. At the time, we will inform the public on this matter,” – said in a statement the Swiss team on Twitter.
