In 2017, about ten private investors, among which are LUKOIL, VTB, RUSAL, will be sponsored by the Russian stage of the Formula 1, according to RNS.

May 1, 2016 in Sochi, Kozak told journalists that LUKOIL has invested about two billion rubles in the Russian stage F1 in 2016.
In December, Kozak said that in 2017 the holding of the Sochi stage of F1 will be paid by private investors.
“Unlike previous races, the licence fee this year would pay only sponsors, private individuals”, — said Deputy Prime Minister.
The Grand Prix of Russia will be held on 30 April 2017 in the Olympic Park on the track “Sochi Circuit”.
