Lewis Hamilton has called on the leadership of F1 to soften restrictions on the promotion of activities through social networks.
During the presentation of Mercedes Lewis said: “In football, the NBA and NFL social network used with much greater benefit. In Formula 1 after every photo or video I get a warning from the FIA that it is necessary to remove the content. I hope this year will allow us to use social networks.
It’s an excellent platform to interact with the world. And for sports it is the easiest and free way to grow.”
The audience in social networks Lewis Hamilton is much broader than that of other F1 racers. For example, his Twitter account has 4,1 million subscribers.
