Member of the program of development of Force India Alfonso Celis in 2017 expects to drive as many kilometers on the new machine VJM10.
Last season, the Mexican has held six sessions of Friday’s free races and several test sessions. This year he will continue to work with the Indian team, combining performances in Formula 3.5 V8 for the team Fortec Motorsport.
In the pre-season tests in Barcelona Celis will conduct a half day – 1 [the whole day] and 2 March [morning session].
“I hope to hold the wheel of the new machine Force India as much as possible, said Celis in an interview with Motorsport Week. – VJM10 meets all most modern standards, in terms of the rules, and I can’t wait as soon as possible to go to the track.
It is clear that the basic drivers have to be rolled forward, so there’s a tradeoff. But I hope to travel the maximum possible mileage to show what you can do and help the team in the development of the car”.
