The pilot Haas Kevin Magnussen believes that he can show all his talent in the new technical regulations in 2017.
Kevin fully supports the idea that machines should be circles for four or five seconds faster. In previous years the Dane was difficult to keep wearing Pirelli rubber, while in 2017 the tires will be more wear-resistant.
“I like the rider is the problem: I used to “drive” the car, – quotes Magnussen AUTOSPORT.com. – Most likely, the new cars will be more suited to my racing style than the old car with low downforce.
I look forward to the start of the season. It will be fun. If our expectations are correct, then we will fly the fastest in the history of F1 machines”.
Kevin also spoke about his training programme ahead of the new campaign.
“This winter, I mainly trained and almost never travel. I stayed home in Denmark with his physical trainer. We do not know reliably, how fast are these machines and how demanding they will be for pilots, so you need to prepare as good as possible,” said Magnussen.
In the inaugural 2014 season, the Dane was a partner of Jenson Button. In 2016 in the part of Renault, he competed with Jolyon Palmer, and in 2017 will defend the colors of Haas Romain Grosjean.
“I prefer that my partner was an experienced pilot. This is useful for the team and for me, because I learn from teammate. I learned from Jolyon in 2016, but the Romaine I can get more because it’s incredibly fast racer,” summed up Kevin.
