The Mercedes driver Robert Wickens showed the best time on the third day of pre-season tests DTM in Hockenheim, according to TouringCarTimes.
In the morning when it was cool, the participants focused on working with settings and short series of circles, and after lunch moved on to work on the race distance.
Wickens, drove his best round with a score of 1.30,517, ahead by 0,348 seconds nearest rival, which turned out to Jamie green from Audi. Just 0,015 seconds to the Briton lost his teammate Nico müller.
Fourth place was taken by Lucas Auer rounded out the top-5 returned in the DTM Maro Engel.
The best representative of the BMW was Augusto Farfus, who settled in sixth place and lost to Wickens 0,937 seconds. Then in the final Protocol there are Paul di Resta, Loic Duval and Bruno Spengler.
Reigning champion Marco Wittmann in the morning never went to the track, and after lunch showed the fourth time and became the tenth on the day.
On Thursday, 6th April, Hockenheim will host the final day of pre-season testing.
